We'll See You At The Conference

The 16th annual Condominium Conference, hosted by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and the Toronto & Area Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI-T), is taking place at the Toronto Congress Centre on Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 and is expected to draw over 1000 participants this year!

Patricia Elia will be speaking at 12:15pm on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at a session that focuses upon the Challenges of Creating a Successful Multi-Ethnic Community. The session will be moderated by Chris Antipas of 360 Community Management Ltd. and will feature Babak Ardalan of Del Property Management Inc. and Chris Jaglowitz of Gardiner Miller Arnold LLP alongside Patricia.

Richard Elia will be speaking at the Conference’s Closing Session on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012, commencing at 1:15pm and focusing upon Our Responsibility In Updating The Condominium Act, 1998. Richard will be speaking to the findings of the Dispute Resolution Sub-Committee, formed by the Joint Government Relations Committee of ACMO/CCI-T, in developing a model of dispute resolution to address condominium conflicts. The work that Richard Elia has done as chair of the Dispute Resolution Sub-Committee was recognized when he recently received the 2012 ACMO Associate Member of the Year award.  Richard will be joined by Peter Harris of Harris & Chong, LLP, Chartered Accountants; Stephen Karr of Harris, Sheaffer LLP; ACMO President, Dean McCabe of Wilson Blanchard Management Inc.; and Sally Thompson of Halsall Associates in this intriguing and informative session moderated by Armand Conant of Shibley Righton LLP.

Ashley Winberg, Antoni Casalinuovo and Marc Bhalla of Elia Associates will also be attending the Conference. We look forward to seeing you there!
