Having grown with Elia Associates from summer student to articling student, Alessia now serves as an associate lawyer with the firm. She advises condominium corporations on a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, civil litigation, enforcement, contract review/drafting, and complex dispute resolution among owners, corporations, and key stakeholders.
Alessia earned an Honours Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, majoring in Criminology and minoring in Sociology and Equity Studies. Her academic background sparked her interest in understanding the ways in which law interacts with people, communities, and society.
Outside of the office, Alessia is passionate about travelling and is always looking for an opportunity to explore somewhere new and develop a greater appreciation for different cultures. She has set herself the ambitious goal of visiting every continent, although she is still working on convincing herself that Antarctica is a reasonable vacation destination.
When she is not mapping out her next vacation, she can usually be found exploring Toronto’s restaurant scene, hiking, or visiting her favourite local coffee shop.
